JOINS ALTITUDE SPORTS RADIO
DENVER (Wednesday, July 30, 2025) — Altitude Sports Radio 92.5 FM today announced that it will serve as Denver’s new home for Westwood One’s coverage of the National Football League (NFL), beginning with Week 1 of the upcoming regular season. The extensive package of nationally broadcast games includes Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, Thursday Night Football, International Series games, the Thanksgiving Day tripleheader, the Christmas Day game, and every playoff game, culminating with Super Bowl LX.
“Altitude Sports Radio is thrilled to welcome Westwood One to our lineup,” said Program Director Kevin Shockey. “They’re the gold standard for broadcasting games nationally and the power of the NFL is unmatched. Every local sports fan should have 92.5 FM as the first preset saved on their car radio.”
Between The NFL on Westwood One, the Denver Nuggets, the Colorado Avalanche, college football, college basketball, and more, Altitude Sports Radio will air nearly 300 live games in the next 12 months.
Altitude Sports Radio will kick off its new sports partnership with Westwood One on September 4 beginning with the NFL's traditional Thursday Night season-opener, where the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles play at home against the Dallas Cowboys. Week 1’s marquee matchups continue with the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers from São Paulo, Brazil, on Sept. 5, followed by the Baltimore Ravens at the Buffalo Bills on Sunday Night Football (Sept. 7) and the Minnesota Vikings at the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football (Sept. 8).
The partnership with Westwood One will bring additional live sports programming beyond the NFL to Altitude Sports Radio, which also encompasses sister station Altitude Sports 950 AM. Westwood One’s lineup of championship events coming to Altitude Sports Radio includes the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, Women’s Final Four, Men’s Frozen Four, major golf tournaments, and more.
Beginning Aug. 4, Altitude Sports 950 AM will air The Jim Rome Show, a nationally syndicated sports talk powerhouse airing weekdays, 3-6 p.m. MT. The three biggest names in national sports radio can all be heard on 950, with Rome joining The Dan Patrick Show (weekdays, 7-10 a.m. MT) and The Herd with Colin Cowherd (weekdays, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. MT).
